These Terms of Service govern your use of the Cue Line app and website. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Cue Line, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to the Cue Line iOS application and the cueline.dev website.
Description of Service
Cue Line is a line memorization app for performers and speakers. It provides speech recognition scoring, script management, and practice tools. Certain features require a paid subscription (Cue Line Pro).
User Content
You retain ownership of any scripts, texts, or materials you enter into the app. All content is stored locally on your device. When you use the PDF import or text parsing features, your content is transmitted to Anthropic's API solely for the purpose of parsing — Cue Line does not store or use your content for any other purpose.
Subscriptions and Billing
Cue Line Pro is available as a monthly ($6.99/month) or annual ($44.99/year) subscription. Subscriptions are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. To cancel, go to your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
Refunds
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. Cue Line has no ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to use Cue Line to transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; to attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the app's source code; to circumvent any access controls or subscription gates; or to use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
Intellectual Property
Cue Line, its logo, and all original content are the property of the developer. The app is licensed to you, not sold. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app or its content without permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Cue Line is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that speech recognition will achieve any particular accuracy. Use of the app is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cue Line and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
